Oriol Vilapuig takes part in the exhibition Rodoreda, a forest at the CCCB

It is a pleasure to announce the participation of Oriol Vilapuig in the exhibition Rodoreda, un bosque, which the CCCB will inaugurate on 5 December 2025 and which will be open to visitors until 25 May 2026.

Curated by Neus Penalba, the exhibition offers an immersive journey through the literary imagination of Mercè Rodoreda, articulated around the metaphor of the forest—its symbols and its many layers of meaning. In this context, Vilapuig’s work enters into dialogue with the various pieces and materials that shape this visual reading of the Rodoredian universe, contributing a contemporary perspective that expands and enriches the curatorial proposal.

Oriol Vilapuig and his work Teoria dels cossos in “El vértigo de las imágenes” at TEA Tenerife

It is a pleasure to announce that the work Teoria dels cossos, by artist Oriol Vilapuig, has been selected to be part of the exhibition El vértigo de las imágenes, a curatorial proposal by Marta Dahó for TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, within the framework of the XVIII International Photography Biennial Fotonoviembre 2025. The exhibition, which will open on 14 November 2025 and can be visited until 22 February 2026, brings together historical and contemporary artists who question the nature of images in a time marked by visual saturation. Under the critical gaze of Marta Dahó, the show offers a profound reflection on how we see, interpret, and inhabit the contemporary visual universe.
