The exhibition Altas horas is a proposal of the works of Jordi Teixidor through the formal (even metaphorical) structure of the door or window. Teixidor’s work encourages reflection, where the gaze does not seek so much to understand the truth of what it sees, but rather what it is true. And in the end, as in one of Mark Strand’s poems: The doors to nowhere multiply and the present is so far, so deeply far away.
