On 9 July at 7 pm, we are pleased to open A Small Invitation, an exhibition by Rubén González Bonilla at Galería RocioSantaCruz, presented as part of the Art Nou 2026 programme.

The exhibition proposes a dialogue with the exhibition … Ouka Leele. Barcelona 1978–1980 , creating a meeting point between the two creative universes through photography, the body, and experimentation with materials.

Curated by Enrique O. Romero, with the collaboration of Gema Pinedo de Pedro, the exhibition invites visitors to explore Rubén González Bonilla’s visual universe, where photography and textiles become tools for examining the relationship between the body, matter, and the image.

Tomorrow, 8 July, at 7 pm, we look forward to welcoming you to Galería RocioSantaCruz for a conversation on the life, work and legacy of Ouka Leele, held in the framework of the exhibition. Ouka Leele. Barcelona 1978–1980 .

The conversation will bring together María Rosenfeldt, daughter of Ouka Leele and director of the Archive; photographer Maria Espeus, the subject of the iconic photograph Peluqueria (1979); and photographer and cultural manager Pep Rigol. Together, they will share memories, experiences and reflections on one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary Spanish photography.
