MIASMA. A 15-hour laboratory of the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya taught by Lúa Ribeira.

MIASMA, photography course that will be given by Lúa Ribeira at the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya and that will take place from May 30 to June 1.

In this laboratory, photography becomes the way to reflect on miasmatic contamination in contemporary life.

Duration: 15 hours

  • Friday 30/05 from 17h to 20 h
  • Saturday 31/05 from 10h to 14 h and from 15:30h to 19:30h
  • Sunday 01/06 from 10h to 14 h

Siboney Gallery. Inauguration of the exhibition in honor of its 40th anniversary.

Next Thursday, April 10, the Siboney Gallery will inaugurate an exhibition that commemorates the one held in 1985. The exhibition will be held in the Exhibition Hall of the Central Library, located at C/ Ruiz de Alda, 19, Santander. Artists Francisco Leiro and Antón Lamazares, who were part of the original exhibition 40 years ago, will participate in this exhibition.

Pilar Aymerich at the exhibition Art in the Struggle for Freedom.

From 28 November 2024 to 21 March 2025, the Congreso de los Diputados is hosting the exhibition Art in the struggle for freedom. Celebrating the Spanish Constitution .; where they show us the history of the 1978 Constitution and the progress of the transition society, through works by Pilar Aymerich, Joan Fontcuberta, Antoni Tapiès and Eva Lootz.

Exhibition: The culture of landscape. The mountain, the tree and the river. Derivatives of the contemporary natural and urban landscape, between utopia and dystopia.

From 8 March to 11 May 2025, the Royal Botanical Garden is hosting the exhibition at the Villanueva Pavilion. The culture of the landscape. The mountain, the tree and the river which presents landscape as a cultural representation of nature and its influence on human perception, through the exchange between the tradition of Chinese landscape painting and the transformations of modern landscape. With works by Marina Núñez and Fina Miralles, among other artists.
