This Saturday, May 8th, the exhibition Fotoclubismo: Brazilian Modernist Photography, 1946-1964, will be inaugurated at MoMA in New York. A spectacular retrospective of this artistic movement, curated by Sarah H. Meister and Dana Ostrander, where you could find photographs by Marcel Giró, Palmira Puig, German Lorca and Rubens Teixeira Scavone among others.

MoMA will reopen its doors with this exhibition that excites us so much and make us very proud of it as we had have the opportunity to collaborate deeply on it.

Therefore we’ve decided to extend the closing of our exhibition at the gallery, Fotoclubismos: Barcelona – São Paulo. 1932-1964, until Saturday, May 15th, so you will be able to come to visit it two weeks more.

In the second edition of ARCO’s E-xhibitions, we present a selection of photographs by members of the Foto Cine Clube Bandeirante –Marcel Giró, Palmira Puig, German Lorca, Rubens Teixeira Scavone– who dialogue about the Brazilian vision and the architectural theme with the pieces by Sergio Vega in his series ‘Paraísos Perdidos de la Modernidad’.

Montserrat Soto participates, along with Hannah Collins, Cristina de Middel, Isabel Muñoz and Mayte Vieta, in the exhibition 5 Photographers in the Banco Sabadell Collection, which will open on April 16 at the Banco Sabadell Auditorium (Alicante).

The artist presents the works of her series Infierno Ciego, which she presented in 2019 at RocioSantaCruz.

Gonzalo Elvira will be participating on Friday March 26 at Gutun Zuria. Festival Internacional de las Letras de Bilbao under the general title ‘AQUÍ. El lugar que recoge todos los dóndes’.

Gonzalo will be participating, along with Joan Fontcuberta and Alicia Kopf in the ‘CAPSULES’ section of the Festival: artists, writers and writers, Festival advisors or people from the organization will speak and reflect on the literary and artistic system.

Last days to visit the exhibition J (e m) ‘accuse o la mort de l’autor, curated by Adonay Bermúdez, in which Blanca Casas Brullet participates.

The exhibition brings together a selection of works that influence the appropriation or that are appropriations of other works, configuring a narrative thread that connects with current issues such as feminism, identity, capitalism, advertising or culture, as well as with systems of hegemony, indoctrination or subversion.
